Received a notice from us?

If we've contacted you about a balance, there is a file behind it and we're glad to walk you through yours. You can pay, ask a question, set up a plan, or tell us the amount is wrong.

If you think the amount is wrong or the debt isn't yours, tell us in writing within 30 days of our first notice. We'll pause collection while we send you verification.

Pay, ask a question, or dispute

Have your account number from the notice ready. Payment plans are available on most balances.

Online payments are coming soon. Until then, call us to pay by phone or set up a plan.

What the notice means

A client of ours, usually a former landlord or a business you had an account with, has asked us to collect a balance they say you owe. Our first notice tells you who the original creditor is, how much is owed, and how the amount was calculated. If anything on it is unclear, call us and we'll go through it line by line.

How to pay

Call us to pay by phone, or mail a check or money order to the address on your notice with your account number on it. If you can't pay the full amount at once, ask about a payment plan. Most balances qualify.

If you think it's wrong

Write to us within 30 days of receiving our first notice and say what you're disputing: the whole balance, part of it, or that it isn't yours. We'll stop collecting until we've mailed you verification of the debt. You can also ask us, in writing, for the name and address of the original creditor.

Your rights

  • We won't call before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. your time, or at work if you tell us your employer doesn't allow it.
  • You can tell us in writing to stop contacting you, or to contact you only through your attorney.
  • We won't threaten, harass, or misrepresent anything about the balance or what could happen if it isn't paid.
  • Residents of some states and cities have additional rights. Any state-specific disclosures on your notice apply to you.

Online payments aren't available yet

Online payments and account lookup are coming soon. In the meantime, we can take care of it by phone or email.
