Information you give us. When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you enter: typically your name, company or property name, email address, phone number, and a description of the balances you're asking about. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that communication.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
Fonts. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and the request for the font file. Google's privacy policy governs that data.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

If you are a consumer with an account placed with us, or a client who has given us account records, that information is governed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the laws of your state, and our written agreements with clients. We use it only to collect, verify, report, and remit as those laws and agreements allow. Please don't send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive details through the website form; call us instead.
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and for the period our record-keeping obligations require, then delete or anonymize them.
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the information we hold is limited to the people who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@octopuscg.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor requests as that law requires. We don't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because the site doesn't track you across other sites.
This site is for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
